OW5000

NEC Unified Solutions’ OW5000 is a new application platform that provides the tools NEC UNIVERGE Solutions Partners need to develop enhanced applications and business solutions that are interoperable with NEC Unified Solutions products and systems.

OW5000 comes complete with open APIs developers can use to integrate the following NEC IP telephony servers with their applications:

 ·        UNIVERGE SV7000 IP telephony server

·        UNIVERGE SV7000 Multiple Purpose System (MPS)

·        UNIVERGE NEAX IPS Controller

OW5000 supports SOA development with web services for call management and information, as well as providing application support for an entire customer network, simplifying application development, and deployment.

With it’s built in SQL Database, and Event Notification Application Services, OW5000 includes APIs that provide the tools to support advanced application development, including call control support in SOAP, C++ and TAPI.  OW5000 runs on Windows 2003 32bit edition.  Support for 64bit editions is planned for later this year.
